2. General information on data processing

In principle, we process personal data of our visitors only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content, or where you actively provide us with data, for example via our contact form.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When our website is accessed, Vercel collects technically necessary data, in particular the IP address, date and time of access, pages accessed, browser type and operating system (server log files). This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is a provider based in the USA. The transfer of data to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) and, where applicable, on the basis of Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.

4. Server log files

The log data referred to in section 3 is stored by our host for a limited period and then deleted. It is not merged with other data sources.

5. Contact form and contact by email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address and optionally company, phone number, area of interest and message content) solely to handle your enquiry. Enquiries are transmitted to our email inbox. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at concluding a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Insofar as you have consented to the processing, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is an additional legal basis; you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required to handle your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and does not employ any analytics or tracking services.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Insofar as processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

This privacy policy is dated July 2026. We update it when the data processing on our website changes.
